Church Overview

St. Andrew Christian Church is a vibrant, diverse, and growing community of faith located in North Tulsa. Having recently celebrated 101 years of Christian service in December 2024, our congregation remains deeply committed to serving God and our neighbors. We are prayerfully seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Lead Pastor to guide our church family into a new chapter of spiritual growth and community impact.

Position Summary

The Lead Pastor will serve as the spiritual and administrative leader of the congregation. The ideal candidate is a born-again, baptized believer who possesses a deep commitment to the Gospel, strong leadership capabilities, and a heart for multi-generational ministry. This individual must exemplify the biblical qualifications of leadership as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. This is a bi-vocational position subject to an annual performance review.

Core Requirements

• Licensure: Must be a Licensed and Ordained Baptist Minister.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience, with a proven track record in preaching and teaching.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited seminary or Bible college required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Status: Must be prepared for a bi-vocational role. Marriage is preferred.

• Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable with modern technology and computer systems.

• Administration: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage staff, lead volunteers, and oversee church mission programs.

• Stewardship: High level of professional and personal financial responsibility.

• Development: Committed to lifelong learning through continuing Christian education.
