Mission

The mission of the Music & Worship Arts Auxiliary of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. is to glorify God by cultivating unified, Spirit-led worship that transforms hearts, strengthens churches, and advances the gospel. We equip and empower music and worship leaders to serve with excellence, foster corporate worship that honors Christ, and model a lifestyle of discipleship, ministry, and mission. Through biblical teaching, artistic expression, and collaborative training, we seek to build unity among congregations, inspire healthier spiritual and personal living, and support the Convention’s call to serve, love, and give freely in fulfillment of the Great Commission.

About Music & Worship Arts Auxiliary

The Music & Worship Arts Auxiliary of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. exists to lead and support the worshiping life of our churches through music, praise, media, and creative arts. Rooted in biblical truth and committed to Christ-centered worship, we equip congregations to experience God through unified praise, powerful choir ministry, worship technology, and Spirit-led artistic expression. Our Auxiliary provides training, development, and resources for worship leaders, choirs, musicians, media teams, and creative artists to grow in excellence and ministry. While our foundation is built on strong choral traditions and contemporary praise and worship, we are expanding to embrace additional art forms that uplift the name of Jesus—such as dance, spoken word, visual arts, drama, and emerging media and digital arts. As we look toward the future, the Music & Worship Arts Auxiliary remains committed to cultivating worship that is authentic, accessible, and transformative—inviting all generations to encounter God through the diverse gifts of music, media, and the arts.
